John; I agree it looks that way but when you are developing an hypothesis you would revise it to include things which give better results. When you were satisfied with the way it works you test it on a larger database to see if it holds up. JOB is no programmer so I'm willing to bet he didn't do this long term look before. Neither did I since I normally use the 1973-present NEIC database.
