The name of the book is "The cycle of Cosmic Catastrophes." Wild title, I know. I bought it in one of our wild metaphysical stores here after realizing that it covered this topic. Now if I could just get the smell of incense out of it...

I haven't gone more than a couple of chapters--but despite a bit of florid writing, seems to be interesting and reasonable. Authors Firestone, West and Simon Warwick- Smith. I'll be finishing it as soon as I feel better.

Canie is right, by the way. This current cold is JUST MISERABLE and goes away slowly. Both hubby and I are sick, so one who feels mildly better has to cook that day.

AND---yes, lots of snow in Shasta. What's amazing is how good we are at clearing it! We use pumice (we've got a lot handy) to sand our roads--noisy but effective.

AND---as for 20 hours of TV every day---except for TCM, most stuff sucks. The Weather Channel isn't bad, and Days of Our Lives is mildly improved (for those who want to know!)
