No, you guys are missing what I am seeing. Blow up the photo. Look for a small, black object appearing to sit on the ground towards the foreground, and it's black shadow around 11 o'clock. Tell me what that thing is. It does not look like a rock formation, or a sand dune, or anything other than something man-made.
