Imagine if the nation of Indonesia plastered a red square on the map for every 2.0 mag and up. It would look like a heap of checkers 80 stories high. It would be a totally undefined "blizzard" of red squares. A dash of blue and yellow would complete the menagerie. California is really kind of dead, yes?
