Hello Chris, My question is under what conditions does a reverse become thrust? Seems like I read somewhere that a dip vector under 30 degrees then becomes a thrust quake, depending on the subduction zone under study. Hauksson defined quakes with a rake of slip between 70 degrees and 110 degrees as reverse. Take a look at the CMT and tell me what you think. (Linked) Glen
