Not ignoring it, just didn't mention it.

Reran the programs and wrote down the answers to avoid memory problems. Also ran for the 1973-2006 time span. Using the Centennial Catalog in each case.

For 1900-2006 (39081 days) there were 627 crosses and 30 hits out of 1709 quakes.
627/39081 = 0.016 probability which is 0.000001 significance level.

For 1973-2006 (12418 days) there were 49 crosses and 2 hits out of 476 quakes.
49/12418 = 0.004 probability which is 0.017 significance level.

I'd have to say the results are still inconclusive. Small sample is very much a problem and the cross aspect is very erratic over time due to the slow moving outer planets.
