Can you tell me specifically what you don't understand?

here's what I did:

Search the NEIC catalog for mag 6+ quakes in the Pacific Ocean region

Found over 3,000 of them

Starting with the first quake, compare it to the rest and make note of any others within 24 hours which were over 1000 km away.

Do the same for all the rest

Finally, list each region having more than one quake followed by the regions where the associated quakes were located.

Is that better?
