Steadiness is not my problem. Exposure settings are. I left the camera is automatic mode. Where it really shows is in the sets of images I took as panoramas for later stitching - adjacent segments have dramatic brightness differences. But, that's where image editing comes in handy.

The camera is a Nikon D200 - 10.2 megapixels. Takes 3872x2592 sized images. And yes, I am stitching together several of those to make one HUGE image.

Which reminds me, I have hundreds of images of Long Beach taken from Signal Hill on a very clear day that I have yet to stitch. But I lack the computing power to do it right now. But when done, the resulting image will have gigapixel resolution.

Anyway, as I write this I am working on selecting the better images for eventual posting, and doing some panorama stitching.
