Is there something in the extraction of paleo evidence that gives a clue as to the directionality of a hypothetical rupture of the Coachella segment? My guess is that we, they, and all of us expect a completion of 1857 Cholame and 1906 San Fransisco on the SAF? Or maybe I am stretching, or being too simplistic about the overall dynamic? Also, my guess is that the San Bernardino structural knot may complicate all the equations about a rupture scenario involving Coachella segment. What bugs me is San Jacinto fault, and if it somehow gets involved in a real rupture ofSAF. Just thinking about family is all.
