Mike, heartland daughter and I just watched the Lewis Black DVD last night: red, white, and screwed (he takes some shots at democrats also). We saw him live in the university in early April (the day before we heard a Nobel peace prize winner talk there...talk about contrasts. You should watch him if you have not. When we saw him live, I wanted him to be really angry, He is angrier on the DVD. I must have some deep seated frustrations to want to here him be angry. By the way, I am part of the least trusted minority (by far...by a factor of 10 in a poll): I am an atheist. By the way, Heartland Daughter is 18: people may not want to see or hear Lewis with, say, their 6 year old. By the way, I don't think it is 1 million dead, and it was started by a fundamentalist (Bush), but I don't buy that it is a religious war as such (although it is between Sunnis and Shiites now). Do the math: if there are 100 Iraqis dead/day, that is 36,500/year. Multiply that by 4. I think that number will still be too high because I don't think it has been 100 per day for the full period. There could be a much higher number of casualities (injuries) though: as there are for the troops.
