Well for us the flood has just been to crop ground. Have around 150 acres of corn under water, drowning out as I write this. Corn was planted late due to cold and wet. Should be planting beans, but it is going to be a week or more for the ground to dry out even if we don't get any more rain. Took a l. strike to the house Sunday night, knocked out the phone lines. Topeka asked 3000 people to move out due to high water, around 500 water rescues yesterday. Today the sun is shining and the water is back in the banks. Great Plains weather is not for the faint of heart.
