Hi Barry - I'll take a stab at this question - On the one hand I doubt it'll have much effect as the river floods quite often without any earthquake activity following.

But - theoretically I guess you could say the water adds to the load due to its weight and could have some added stress just due to its weight. I doubt you have anything to worry about.
