Re: the raising and falling of continents |
Yes Canie, that is "old" history. New history is being discovered that isn't into the existing geology courses yet. You really need to get ahold of this article. It is written by Michael Gurnis who is a geophysicist working with the dynamics of plate tectonics and the earth's interior. Now I see that this Gurnis appears to work at caltech. He has a computational Geodynamics Research Group Web site at this URL: www.gps.caltech.edu/~gurnis/geodynamics.html Follow Ups: ● Re: the raising and falling of continents - Canie 08:02:42 - 4/17/2001 (6778) (2) ● The Sinking of Denver - Dennis 14:48:31 - 4/18/2001 (6817) (1) ● Re: The Sinking of Denver - Canie 20:44:58 - 4/18/2001 (6823) (1) ● Re: The Sinking of Denver - Dennis 11:07:49 - 4/19/2001 (6847) (1) ● Re: The Sinking of Denver - Canie 14:39:40 - 4/20/2001 (6886) (0) ● Re: the raising and falling of continents - Bob Shannon 17:18:51 - 4/17/2001 (6788) (0) |
