Hi Scorpio. The Axial volcano is 287.45 statute miles north of the quakes. I doubt that the quakes are related to the movement of magma. The quakes are a little too big for them to have been caused by the movement of magma.

However a large quake could break the mantle allowing magma to rise. This is not likely.

I check the catalog for past quakes for this area and there have been a number of quakes occurring in that area. The last time was in 1995.

There is a good chance that they are related to the Seattle quake. This not to say that the Seattle quake triggered these quakes, but what brought about the Seattle quake is also causing these quakes.
