$186,000 + 25% |
Steve and Mike, I let Farmers do the run and they came up with $186,000, plus I will put an additional 25% on top of that. So the total replacement will be $232,000. That should be enough for that house. Mind you, the first $15,000 goes to repermitting the thing. $5000 to school district, demolition, regrading, water connection, possible leach field, and on and on. My guess is that if the house gets hit that hard, we will be in a declared disaster zone, which should save me alot of that. It's $147.00 a year. Why would somebody not get it? Because they were not alive or did not live here during the last big roller, which was 1968. I try to tell people. Live and learn. I'm not taking any chances.
