You're right Don. Doing a search on Yahoo for "sunken cities", there are many articles on this phenomena with each offering a little more information (theories) on this disaster. The Disaster Relief site also has a good article about it.

I'd liked to have seen that documentary as well. I found the title on the web site for the Discovery Channel, but haven't been able to find a time for when it would show again. :-(

I've also been trying to find more information about that city off of Okinawa but haven't been successful with that search yet.

It appears that last November, the Mediterranean discovery was a bit of a hot debate topic at the AGU meeting. Any abstracts?
