You're right about the building owners not going along with it. But then why have a category called "Earthquake Preparedness" if nobody is going to do anything about it anyway? The only way things will get done is to either provide assistance as is being done up in your area or pass laws that will either affect their business by causing people to stay away or force them to do something which would also impact their business. But then again if you get too aggressive, then business would begin to leave the state. I suppose that the mentality is, "I'll leave the problem to somebody else. It ain't gonna happen during my time". -Dennis
