Hi In my message viz. http://www.earthwaves.org/wwwboard/messages/61632.html I have given the following prediction: Magnitude: 6.5 to 7.5M From: 4.30 UTC - 30th Dec. 2006 - To: 4.30 UTC 10th Jan.2007 Location: EASTERN HONSHU Lat: 36.1N - Long: 139.8 - Range: 330 km Result: 15Jan2007 18:17:56.2 34.9N 138.7E160 mb=6.1 M*GSR NEAR S. COAST OF HONSHU,(Redpuma) This was my expected quake. Though the location is 179 KMs from the epicenter, magnitude was bit lesser and the time frame was exceeded by 5 days. I would like to share my opinion as follows: I have noticed another triggering process on the same location comprising the earth movement 2nd, 3rd and 4th of Jan.07. If so, the time frame 'beginning' from 3rd Jan.07 which exceeded by 4 days from the original triggering comprising 29th, 30th and 31st of Dec.06, hence occurrence should lie in between 3rd to 14th of Jan. 07. But the real occurrence was again delayed by one day in this particular case. The delay may be due to the Kuril Island 8.3M quake and subsequently the magnitude was also reduced to this Honshu quake.
Another interesting case the same quake was delayed by 14 days as reported by Callie in Earthquake epi-center forum. Shan
