All I'm saying is that such accuracy is not necessary. If people are predicting 8.25 day windows, an 8 day window is close enough. Now if they were predicting 12 hour windows, I would agree.

it's of little matter program-wise. Right now it uses a drop-down menu of days from 1 to 100. that would have to be changed to a user-input field which would take any form of input and convert it to decimal days for Julian Day Number comparisons.
