Some of the posts I do here are out of my field...technical earthquake seismology would be out of my field, so I qualify my posts sometimes. Climate issues are only partly out of my field; I'm pretty well informed on some of this. But, in general, even for things that are in my field, I need to read more scientific articles....when I started getting articles as digital .pdf files rather than paper I tended not to read them because I sit in front of the computer enough...I need to buy the connections to get my old but high quality Mac printers and scanner attached to my Windows laptop, and print out the articles and read them...New Years resolution of sorts..
