This is probably the earthquake which was responsible for the warning signal that I detected on December 20, 2006. It reportedly claimed several lives.

Unfortunately my location determination computer programs did not do a very good job of determining where it might occur. They appear to have problems with earthquakes which occur in areas where there are more than 2 tectonic plates present. And that would include the general Japan and Central America areas. For other locations where the fault zone system is simpler they can often produce fairly high quality location data.

I have been so busy lately that I simply do not have time to respond to many of the Newsgroup and bulletin board notices.
