Roger...interesting...thanks. I'm about to give up on this proposed relation, although I need to look at what is in Lowell's thesis. I really did believe there was something to this...but did not go along with the way it was taken as a proven fact or whatever on this page a couple years ago...
One thing that is left unexplained is why there is a difference...why there are less quakes. With those numbers, there should be no statistically significant difference, and with that many quakes 2% seems like it would be significant. To me though, it just is not logical that magnetic storms would suppress quakes.
