When I do an analysis of my predictions for my Earthquake Dart Board, I only analyze those older than two weeks in order to let the numbers settle some.

I suppose if one were to start collecting on a daily basis the output of a catalog for a specific day, starting with a current day, it could be seen by how much and how long the numbers change. (did that make sense? it's well past my bed time and I'm grumpy to boot)
