OK, had to google to find pacific tsunami warning center, and it is linked below. There has been a 30 cm (1 foot) tsunami at Hokkaido...but it probably was (much?) larger near the epicenter. The question would be whether the tsunami was directed off to the SE rather than the SW, and that there might be a more significant tsunami on Pacific islands...I guess I would not expect a huge one...I'm just using common sense, I'm not a tsunami expert so defer to the tsunami warning center...
