Not to long ago there was a show on either TLC or TDC about Yellowstone on somebody who had shown that there was a plume of magma that was rising and its dimensions. He had done this using seismic records. This was also the cause of changing levels of water in lakes as well. As far as I know, he is still monitoring the whole situation.
