Hi George, on the syzygy boards there were a few reports of animal strangeness in WA a week prior to the quake today. From Olympia, very near the epicenter, a dog was acting very jumpy and clingy. The owner described him, in a posting on the 27th, as being "pyscho".

The same person in Olympia reported an increase in ants entering the home, and these ants continued to be active well into evening hours.

Another couple of posts were from Puyallup WA (I'm sorry I don't know where that is relative to today's eq). One was about a border collie having a seizure, and another was about a dog behaving strangely.

In the Seattle area the animal lost and found classifieds were above normal but not strikingly above normal. Interesting.
