Successful by who's standards? Certainly not by my standards.

My point is the more accurate you attempt to be, the more lives you'll save, and the more credibility you'll gain for your method.

A hit is a hit, and a miss is a miss. End of story.

If a 3.0 occurs 50 miles outside your prediction, enlarge your prediction area next time around by 50 miles! Learn from the experience, but don't try to justify a hit where there isn't one! Besides, your window is still open so give it a chance.
