This might be a real tricky business in an area so busy as the Aleutians....the Rats etc.. all the way over to Kamchatka Say Roger...I have to admire anyone who has been in that remote area. I have other real time friends who decided that would be a good experience...I have seen complete changes in personality from folks who have had the experience....Like "Razors Edge", this is one heck of a trip....You shall have to write us more about your experiences up there. While I admire adventure, it is waaaay beyond my meager wilderness living in WA in the Kettle Range. We have folks here who go up to AK when the winters here are too mild....I would rather go south:-) Congrats on a wonderful life!!!
