If this follows the pattern that I am thinking, we should see some reactivity in the Obsidian Butte/Elmore Ranch fault zones to the 4.15 Mw south of Ocotillo.
The 4.15 appears to have set off reactivity on the Imperial fault, and I do believe these two swarms are related. The compressional portion of the strike slip quake looks to have gone due east from the 4.15 Mw. My hypothesis is that any distal interuption to the Imperial fault may awaken a swarm in the Obsidian Butte area. I also think the step overs seen at Elmore Ranch are related to Obsidian Butte, due to proximity. I'll post the current map in an addon. Let's see what happens. Within 10 days or so...One to be felt. Shallow depth. No focal mechanism on this one.
