The strong earthquake warning signals that I have been detecting for the past few weeks have completely stopped. The last one was detected on November 2, 2006.

Checking my records I can see that periods of low warning signal activity lasting for a week or more are common before earthquakes in some parts of the world such as Iran.

Finally, this earthquake forecasting effort is not a stationary one. I am doing quite a bit to move things forward. For one example, I am presently attempting to develop a chart generation capability for my Perl language forecasting computer programs. That should make it much easier to interpret the data. Using a spreadsheet program to generate complex charts can be difficult and time consuming.
