Folks, on the USGS Topo this area is called 'Cowlitz Chimneys'.
In the recent past there were a few small Glaciers there also.
Anybody know about the geology in this area on the flanks of
Mt. Rainer???? Recent volcanic activity... Fumaroles????

Why is it called 'Cowlitz Chimneys'.????
