Here's my question..

Can the SAF rupture from an epicentral at Bombay Beach and zipper south? All the animations I see show the quake going out of Coachella and going north. I think Elmore Ranch and the Brawley fault zones are telling a story. I'll stick my neck out here. I think it will zipper south and meet Cerro Prieto. Hypothetical thinking, but an interesting possibility. Great quake, about 8.7?
