A couple of interesting posts by Canie. They have to be careful pumping gas in this field....because it can lead to subsidence and this area if very close to sea level if not already below. I suppose they must inject water to replace the gas....?
One of my 2 claims to fame is that I skated 200 km in one day in northern Netherlands (Friesland) the day before the 1986 Elfstedentocht...when 16,000+ Dutch did the same.....
