There seems to be a certain amount of controversy about how much we should be investing in programs focused on responding to the threat of a collision with an object like an asteroid or large meteor. While the chance of it happening is quite small, the impact is potentially catastrophic for all life on Earth.

However, as this brief video shows, it seems we do in fact have a plan for dealing with it.
