John, I think you're confused. Or I am. As far as I know we are talking about the review version and not the magnitude type. Hmmm...now that I look at it again, I see what the hub-bub is all about. Normally the version is a number, but on these quakes it's the letter "L". I'm looking at quakes on the SCEC website.
