That would indicate to me that aftershocks are still happening as the region settles, and as Chris has pointed out, he doesn't think the southern end of the fault has had its "big one" and is waiting for the other shoe to drop.

None of this changes what's going on with Jane. Like you, I hope she starts keeping records.
