Lets face it, the holy grail of EQ prediction is to save lives with accurate predictions. Lives will be saved by when predictions are to the point that they are interpreted to be reliable to the general public. Fuzzy forcasts are open to interpretation. Ask a 100 people if your forcast was accurate or not, and you'll get a hundred different answers. Ask the same group if your forcast was usefull or not, and you'll get a hundred more different answers. Predicting a 8.0 somewhere in the western hemisphere is not usefull, predicting a 6.0 within 100 miles of a given point is. You may very well be on to something, but it needs to be proven beyond random chance and wild interpretation. I would really like to see Alan's anlysis of your forcasts. Keep up the good work!
