Howdy, The gif I linked here shows a generalized picture of it. The Shumagin and Yakataga Gaps have accumulated the most strain. I think Shumagin last had a large quake in 1938, and Yakataga had some large quakes around 1898. I suppose if we see large swarms in these areas it could get interesting. But then again, after studying the records for 6.5+ quakes since 1973 I saw that some quakes pop without any pre-swarm activity at all. I suppose I should find a ratio of 7's versus 8's and 9 mags. Maybe we can have Roger look at that when he comes back on board. I think he is on vacation.
