If the strain pattern on the San Jacinto is totally chaotic, then how can I know when micros will hit? Look at the California map now. When I made the post at the link, the San Jacinto was quiet. There is a pattern to this area. Simple,
expository examination on my part. I have been watching for a long time. I believe there is a deeper mechanism involved. The problem is if Anza does hit, the reaction to the mechanism will change. When the strain over comes the creep deficit, we will get our pop. When? Don't know. It IS worthy of study.
