Re: Gilroy |
Hi Canie, I am thinking sooner rather than later. With each day that passes after the 4.7, which is the largest activity CA has seen in many moons, I feel a little more safe. So funny that the day we put up our quake alarm, we get one. (The spouse says I should have left it in the box.) By next weekend--well, that seems a million years from now. My older son and his wife are coming this week from Eugene, Or, to visit with their seven-year-old and their new baby. I can't wait to get my hands on this kid, my first bio grandchild, but I am very aware that I will want to spoil my DIL's son from a prior relationship a bit, too. It is hard being older and having a new kid barge into your life. Suddenly, someone else is getting all the attention. Nevertheless, having house guests, even when related, is always stressful for me and the spouse--I think it is for just about anybody. I'll probably cry once they leave, and wish they'd stayed longer. I hope it cools off in San Jose before your visit. It must have been in the 90's here at the coast, which is rare for us. Hope it cools in L.A., too. Isn't June in CA supposed to be gloomy? Cathryn Follow Ups: ● Re: Gilroy - Canie 07:28:55 - 6/17/2006 (38404) (1) ● Re: Gilroy - Cathryn 14:26:35 - 6/17/2006 (38415) (0) |
