I did not take Mikes comments as an insult. The idea that I am making patterns out of random events is not true. The Anza Gap and the Coachella segment are the basis for my experimental predictions. These two areas are the linchpin of what I am doing. Just so we are on the same page, just know that I do not construct the patterns. They are there and I simply observe them. Anybody else can see it. I am trying to figure out where the strain pattern will go, on an experimental basis. Also, I cannot decluster the events. I am looking for clustered events as a possible precursor to larger quakes. And I do have to drop some portion of my own skepticism to do it.
