Univ. California Santa Barbara, from my home office (except I spend 60 or 70 days/yr out there). In a way, I work for myself, in that I am not paid unless there is a funded proposal...some I have to write, some I help others write. We are moving to U. Missouri. I have not decided for sure whether I will move my appointment. But, if I want to get an office, I have to move my appointment...I would not feel right taking space and not helping to pay for it. And, working just from home office in a rather remote area is probably just too isolating...I'd stop trimming my toenails, lose the ability to speak...(such as I have now)...Daughter comes home now at 2:35 but will be going off to college in a year and it will just be me and the dust mites all day.

OK...now I have to be careful what I post...can't just speculate and say any old thing...
