Hi all;

Thanks to Carol, I now have all the ANSS database from 1973-2005 for a large chunk of the western US including parts of Canada and Mexico.

I reduced it to mag 1+ and it still has 840,998 quakes.

The only problem is that it takes about 6 minutes to read thru it looking for quakes in a particular area. This means that evaluating 100 predictions for scattered locations would take 10 HOURS on my system.

Anybody got a spare mainframe to donate? LOL!
