Speaking of gut instinct. . . For people who are intuitive (and not everyone is tuned into their sixth sense) -- gut feelings can and do pan out for both animals and humans. Often, however, human beings are too busy or narrow-minded to pay attention to intuition and/or Mother Nature's moves.
Also, I just finished completing an assigned quiz about the power of intuition for a national magazine. I discovered recent research shows if you are faced with complex problem that intuition often works wonders. Plus, I can personally attest (and have documented proof)that intuition teamed with other tools (dreams, visions, lunar cycles, etc.) works for me when predicting quakes, time after time.
