People are going to think I am a "plant" asking questions of you and all, but I have to say that you present some very brilliant ideas in getting better information to the masses. Television is in a need for a major makeover and I think that your ideas are fantastic. However, trying to "shop" Hollywood and the "media programming powers that be" is a pretty daunting task in itself. Maybe the MacArthur foundation might be able to assist you in some of the financial aspects of your AGU presentation prospective.

A new idea is always controversial, until people understand and accept it, no matter what it may be about. You Petra, shed light on many things in novel ways, please keep on having those ideas! ( they are never dull! )

Let me also add that I enjoy reading them on these pages too!

I re-read my earlier post, and meant to phrase it a bit better, but my boss walked in with a new project and I quickly cleared out a few apps from my "extended" lunch break, and thought I had deleted the response, but I had entered my password and it posted. I didn't realize this until this morning. Your response was great and very clear to someone like me who considers myself one of the "clueless" about many things. Thank-you!
