I always agreed with Don that the big one is unpredictable. The only way to catch it might be a rapid swarm just before it happens. Hot areas? Indio and up by Lancaster. Don't try to plot Anza unless you want two massive blobs. (Or cubes as marc has said.) Let me get some lat lons.
