Hi Glen. The creep along the Hayward fault in the area of the stadium has been occurring since the day the stadium was built.

Right after the 1989 Loma Prieta quake there was a report that the creep on the Hayward fault reversed for a 7-year period. I didn’t get a chance to see the report so I’m not sure if this was for the entire fault, or just the southern segment.
