Hi Mary & Canie, I watched it too. I can't say the whole movie was a negative, but overall it is just too much. There are to many characters so your mind is going willy nilly all over the place. It lacks depth overall. On the plus side they are doing very well with special effects these days and I did enjoy the central woman's character when she was so upset that she was crying. It never hurts to see a scientist cry in frustration, especially in regard to multiple disasters. However, I was surprised that they wrote in her father having such strong objections to the USGS. That's a new issue in regard to disaster movies that not everyone approves of everything in science. Not that it helped anything, it was just noticeable to me. I doubt many would even give it a second thought. On a scale of 1 to 5, I think I would give it a 2.5 and I don't believe if this movie goes on sale that it would do very well.
