I am extremely passionate about working on earthquake prediction. It is a high energy thing when you Up On It and I do love it. And nothing makes me happier than to break all of the rules when for years and years people said something was impossible to see the total opposite happen. And I am very competitive which is what makes me work harder all of the time to do better and go the distance.

Am I divinely inspired? Yes indeed, I am. I do feel there is a guiding force in the universe to see this problem solved and if I can help I'm more than willing to be part of the process. Just remember in 1999 when I hopped on the bandwagon you couldn't even say Earthquake Prediction in public to a scientist and what's out there today, plenty. The door is wide open for anyone who wants to walk through and I am delighted to see this turn. It's wonderful.

So let's keep the magic alive and run with it, solve the problem and let's help people live through earthquakes. There's nothing wrong with being hopeful.
