Re: Pat Robertson and the Tsunami |
Hi Mike, I'm sorry you feel that way about Robertson. I did send him and e-mail to let him know I know how it feels. And who is to say he doesn't get his information from God? I can't argue with that. If God wants to talk to Robertson or anyone else, that's their deal and none of my business. Have you ever heard of that concept called "unconditional love." It means we can love and forgive and accept that none of us are perfect; but we can strive for perfection. It also means that we just accept everyone the way they are good, bad or otherwise and just appreciate that everyone has their good traits and bad one's too. I think the human family is wonderful because we are all allowed to be different. It wouldn't be so great to be a cloned something and when God spoke to one he would be speaking to all of us at the same time and when he said, "Hey You, what's your problem?" everyone would be looking around the room and wondering who he was talking too. Talk about confusing. That wouldn't work well at all. Let's give Robertson time to see what happens. He is in a very unpleasant position and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Petra
